Alexandra ("Alex") works in the Governmental, Regulatory and Legislative Affairs and Business Development and Incentives Procurement practice groups at Bevan, Mosca, Giuditta & Zarillo, P.C. Alex advises clients on key public policy initiatives including health and nutrition, sodium reduction,energy and agricultural sustainability. She also collaborates with clients to negotiate favorable incentive and other funding opportunities from governmental and non-governmental organizations to offset their investments in North America, Latin America and Europe. Alex has extensive experience working with the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. In 2005, Alex worked with former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel to recruit candidates and analyze opposition candidates for the 2006 mid-term elections at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Alex also interned for Congressman Steve Israel (D-2) of New York in his Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining the firm, Alex was a litigator at a large international law firm where she represented clients in a variety of matters including intellectual property, insurance coverage, and banking and securities disputes. Alex earned her J.D. in 2007 from the University of Chicago School of Law and Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy with a specialization in Economics in 2003 from the University of Chicago College. She is admitted to the bars of New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. Alex is currently an active volunteer for the New York City Chapter of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). |
